The need for an individual profile arises when you want to explore the various business connections and involvements of a person. This resource becomes valuable when you seek insights into their historical and current business associations.
Step-by-Step Guide to Acquiring a Person Profile from Bizfile
To acquire the profile, follow these steps:
- Visit the website: www.bizfile.gov.sg.
- Hover the cursor over the ” Buy Information” icon.
- Select “Person Profile.”
Essential Information:
To access crucial insights about an individual, you’ll need the following data:
- The individual’s official name as documented.
- The individual’s NRIC (National Registration Identity Card) number.
Initiating the Search:
On the “People Search” subpage, you’ll find an input field labeled “Enter Identification No. or Name.” Perform the following steps:
- Type the individual’s name into the field.
- Click on the “Search” button.
Using the Identification Number:
If you possess the individual’s identification number, it’s recommended to use it for more accurate results.
Results Display:
The webpage will display a list of profiles that match your query.
Identify the Relevant Profile:
Locate the terminal four digits of the NRIC number that correspond to the desired profile.
Adding to Cart and Payment:
Once you’ve identified the correct profile, proceed as follows:
- Click on the “Add to Cart” option.
- Complete the payment process.
Finalizing the Transaction:
The Individual Profile is priced at S$33.00. Upon payment, the profile will be sent to your designated email address.
Profile Content:
The Individual Profile includes the individual’s NRIC number, official name, nationality, and residential address.
Affiliations and Associations:
Most notably, the Individual Profile encompasses the individual’s past and present affiliations, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, foreign entities, shareholdings, and various other organizations.
Processing Time:
After successful payment, an email containing comprehensive instructions for retrieving the product will be sent to your inbox within 15 minutes.
Alternate Process:
If the purchase is conducted via Singpass:
- Log in to the ACRA BizFile+ portal.
- Access the same email instructions by clicking on the “Messages” tab.
Download Expiry:
Downloads for purchased products remain accessible for 7 days from the date of purchase, with no provision for extensions.
